My First Convertible

Well, it's my first if you don't count the VW Thing my parents let me drive, but I never held the title to that, so I don't count it.

I traded my 1985 Toyota MR2 straight up for this 1982 'vert. The MR2 might have been worth a little more, but it was so small I never drove it anymore. The convertible looks pretty sharp. In that previous photo you can see a green van belonging to my stupid neighbors across the street. I'm pretty sure they're responsible for this dent. But this bigger dent is all mine. I got the car stuck on a pole while trying to mail a letter from a drive-up mailbox. That's when I decided to sell the car, before I tore it up anymore.

The interior looks pretty good, and you can see the mileage here. Only 27,402 miles. Yeah, right.

It's got the extremely common 2.2L engine. And the trunk is pretty big, too.

It looks good from the side, and the rear. I always drive it with the top down, so here's a rare shot of it with the top raised. And another, not-quite-so-rare shot.
