1985 Toyota MR2
This was my primary car from 1993 to 1996. Before this I had a 1986 VW Scirroco. Sorry, no pictures. I got the Toyota for $3400 from a guy at Encore Computer,
where I used to work, before they went under. It was a great little sports car, but not terrible practical. It only had enough room for luggage for a weekend, and driving it at 70mph meant

In 1996 I got my first Jeep Cherokee, and basically parked the MR2 because the Jeep was so much more practical for me. The MR2 just sat in front of the
house. I drove it every few weeks, but mostly it just sat.
Then I swapped it straight up for a 1982 Chrysler LeBaron convertible, because I wanted a convertible. The new owner gave it to his daughter, who is driving it
all around Atlanta.
I got it with 72K miles on the clock, and it was up to 150K when I got rid of it. Never had a breakdown, never did more than change the fluids and filters. Well, I did have to replace a
